About
I grew up in Germany, but Switzerland has been my home for years. I’m based in Zurich, and when I’m not working, I’m probably out mountain biking, swimming in a lake, or hiking near Silvaplana (my happy place). I also take Swiss sausages and beer very seriously—and I believe no trip to Switzerland is complete without a bit of both. If you want to find those “only locals know” spots, I’ve got you covered.

Visit the Seebodenalp – Family friendly hike between Lucerne and Zurich
Seebodenalp, just above Küssnacht am Rigi, is a family-friendly hike with marble runs, fire pits, alpine huts, and stunning views over Lake Lucerne. Reachable by cable car or car, the 5–7 km trail takes about 1.5 hours (3–4 with kids). Firewood is provided at shared fire pits, and marble balls cost 10 CHF. End your trip at Hotel-Restaurant Rigi-Seebodenalp for panoramic views and a well-earned drink.
